Switching banks can seem like a hassle - not at Edgewater Bank.
We will walk you through the process of opening accounts, ordering new checks, changing automatic payments, modifying direct deposits, updating ACH information, and other necessary steps. We will make it painless!
To "make the switch", contact us at 800-922-5221 or stop by one of our branch locations. Your Edgewater "Switch Agent" will meet with you face-to-face, at a time convenient for you, to complete the appropriate forms and/or get on-line to make the necessary changes with your ACH and direct debit transactions. If forms need to be sent, we'll even take care of that for you. Best of all, we'll monitor your new account(s) to make sure all the changes are implemented promptly and properly so the change is seamless.
We will use the forms below throughout the process. If you like, you can print them, complete them, and bring them along for our switch meeting. If you are really busy, just send us an e-mail and let us know you are ready to switch. We will take it from there.
This form notifies and authorizes your current financial institution(s) to close your account(s) and issue a cashier’s check for the balance of the account(s). You will need one form for each banking institution where you plan to close accounts.
This form authorizes your employer to electronically deposit your payroll check or other compensation to your Edgewater deposit account.
This form authorizes the originator of Social Security or other governmental benefit payment to electronically deposit your payroll check or other compensation to your Edgewater deposit account.
This form notifies payees that you wish to have your automatic payment come from your Edgewater Bank account versus any previous account. You will need one form for each payee.
